King Arthur Jewelry has been serving the community of Boaz, Alabama since 1986.
Our customers’ satisfaction is our biggest goal, and we welcome custom designs. We value our customers’ needs and hold all transactions in strict confidence. Over the years, we built a reputation on integrity that remains to this day.
The business was founded by Donna Brooks Smith and her parents Perry Junior and Marie Brooks in February 1986. Mr. & Mrs. Brooks has since passed away but Donna, her daughter, Kensley, and their knowledgeable staff continue to serve the Boaz area in the clock and jewelry business. Donna purchases the majority of the diamonds loose, inspecting each stone to ensure the clarity and color for each diamond sold at King Arthur Jewelry. Donna and Kensley personally select each piece of jewelry to guarantee their customers' satisfaction.
Kensley Marie grew up in the family business. Kensley started as a child playing in the ribbon and bows but as she grew up realized she also shared the family's love of jewelry. Kensley is enrolled in the Gemological Institute of America, working toward her gemologist degree. Kensley has completed the bench comprehensive and stone setting comprehensive classes at New Approach School for Jewelers. As the third generation in the family business, Kensley is bringing in new concepts and ideas all while maintaining what her grandparents and mother built the business on, integrity.
King Arthur Jewelry is a member of the Jewelers Board of Trade, Alabama Jewelers Association, and Boaz Chamber of Commerce, where Donna has sat on the Board of Directors. Donna also currently sits on the board of the Boaz Pirate Foundation; an organization that fulfills grants to the Boaz City School system. Kensley is active in serving her church on various committees, including Celebrate Recovery where she helps prepare meals at weekly meetings. All of our employees are very active in community service, and King Arthur Jewelry supports local schools with scholarships and sponsors many community events throughout the year.
To better serve our customers, we keep a master jeweler on staff, and our sales staff members continue to increase their knowledge of jewelry and precious stones with classes by the Gemological Institute of America.
